Bifidobacterium - have the following regulatory and stimulating effects on the body:
1) It normalizes the intestinal microflora - has an antagonistic effect on a wide range of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms;
2) It activates the immune system - stimulates the synthesis of immunoglobulins, lysozyme, interferon, cytokines, interleukin, tumor necrosis factor, the activity of macrophages, monocytes, granulocytes;
3) It involves in digestive processes - metabolizes various animal and vegetable products, participates in the breakdown of carbohydrates, especially lactose;
4) It involves in the synthesis of amino acids, vitamins, fatty acids, hormones and other biologically active substances;
5) It normalizes metabolism - regulates water, salt and gas metabolism, intestinal absorption, participates in the recirculation of bile acids, affects the metabolism of cholesterol, bilirubin;
6) It provides detoxification of the body - removes toxins, radionuclides, xenobiotics, inactivates histamine, procancerogenic and mutagenic substances. The lactobacilli included in the drug have antagonistic activity against a wide range of pathogenic and opportunistic bacteria (staphylococci, proteus, enteropathogenic intestinal spores). They normalize digestive processes in the gastrointestinal tract, enhance metabolism and restore natural immunity.

Fructooligosaccharides are used by lactobacilli and bifidobacteria in the large intestine as a source of energy, which in turn stimulates the growth and activity of beneficial bacteria.

Inulin is a polysaccharide consisting of glucose and fructose residues. After enzymatic hydrolysis in the stomach, it is converted into fructooligosaccharides.
